To unlock its full potential, we recommend integrating the Net Silent into an isolated audio-dedicated network, paired with an external access point and a HiFi-grade network switch such as the Silent Switch OCXO II.

Typical home routers run many extra services and features (Wi‑Fi functions, general-purpose network processing, various background tasks, etc.). Those functions may be useful for general networking, but they do not help audio streaming and can add unnecessary processing activity and internal interference.

Network Stability: The Net Silent router is designed to manage high-speed communication across multiple devices. Due to the complexity of modern home networks and the constant data exchange between connected equipment, occasional connection drops may occur. If you experience a loss of connection, please reboot the unit using the front power switch to refresh the network handshake.
